Summer Internship 2020 - Communication

The summer internship will give you a learning opportunity and practical introduction to the Corporate communication.
A function which aims to be an internationally leading communication unit. We safeguard and enhance the company’s reputation in Norway and internationally with activities to support realization of Equinor’s strategy. As a summer intern in the Communication function you will be exposed to a variety of experiences within corporate media activities, stakeholder engagement and high priority corporate communication projects. A great opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues to expand your range of skills and competences.
Disciplines within Communication are:
• Political and public affairs Norway
• Political and public affairs Global
• Media Relations
• Internal communication
• Brand communication
• Digital engagement
Our summer interns will work on multiple tasks throughout the business. Work tasks may vary according to your competence profile, assignment and business needs. Typical assignments can be:
• Work internally to execute on Equinor communication priorities in line with our values
• Analyse politics and policies and advice management
• Communication concepts and products in line with our strategic ambition
• Suggest and produce digital content for our various channels, especially to engage younger audiences in Norway
• Social Science
• Business administration
However, we are always looking for talented and capable individuals, and are interested in a broader specter of backgrounds.
No more than 1 year of full time relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience)
Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies by the time of the commencement of the internship, and are currently enrolled in a relevant study programme
Bachelors or Masters degree with good academic record
Fluent in English and preferably a second working language
Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage

• You have a positive attitude to take on new challenges and adapt to dynamic environments
