Summer Internship 2018 - Supply Chain Management - Procurement And Supplier Relations

Technology, projects and drilling (TPD) is Statoil's business area responsible for research and technology, project development and execution, well delivery and procurement. Having the corporate responsibility for technology implementation and project development puts us in the middle of making Statoil a competitive company facing the low carbon society.

Technology, Projects and Drilling (TPD) aims to provide safe, efficient and cost competitive global well and project delivery, where cost competitive procurement will be an important contributing factor. Corporate wide procurement services will furthermore help drive costs in the broader organization.
TPD Procurement and supplier relations (PSR) is responsible for the supply chain management (SCM) process ensuring safe and efficient supply of products and services to all our operations and development projects globally. The organization of approximately 1000 people possesses comprehensive competence within all parts of the supply chain process, from market analysis and procurement to transportation and logistics. The organization procures products and services for all of Statoil’s business areas for approximately NOK 144 billion annually.

Position Operational procurement
Operational procurement to cover the need of materials and services mainly for maintenance and operations.

Warehouse Management good receipt, distribution and warehousing.

Position Operational logistic support
Operational logistic support (Drilling Supply Responsible) to drilling & well offshore operations, including planning and coordinating delivery of personnel, goods and services.

No more than 1 year of full time relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience)

Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies by the time of the commencement of the internship, and are currently enrolled in a relevant study programme

Study programs relevant for working in procurement/supply chain management
