Summer Internship 2018 - Drilling And Well - Aberdeen

Technology, projects and drilling (TPD) is Statoil's business area responsible for research and technology, project development and execution, well delivery and procurement. Having the corporate responsibility for technology implementation and project development puts us in the middle of making Statoil a competitive company facing the low carbon society

The drilling and well technology network in Statoil has about 1,200 employees and includes engineers, specialists and managers. Statoil is currently running approximately 40 drilling and well operations daily from platform and subsea installations.

Various drilling and well technical support tasks in relevant organizational units in Technology, Projects and Drilling (TPD).

The Summer Internship will give you a taste of some of the various tasks within Statoil, and give you some insight for who it is to work in our company.

The position is opened for candidates who are eligible to work in Aberdeen during the time of the internship.

Please note that the company does not cover housing/moving and travelling costs for candidates.


No more than 1 year of full time relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience)

Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies by the time of the commencement of the internship, and are currently enrolled in a relevant study programme

Students from university studying petroleum technology, subsea technology or mechanical engineering

Excellent results obtained within your degree

Excellent written and oral English language skills
