Summer Internship 2018 - Communication

Corporate communication (CCOM) aims to be an internationally leading communication unit. We safeguard and enhance the company’s reputation by supporting activities aimed at helping Statoil achieve its strategic goals. CCOM’s role to systematically raise awareness and build trust among the public in Norway, specific target groups internationally, and in regions where the company is concentrating its efforts. We also place a lot of emphasis on create enthusiasm and pride among our employees.

Understand the needs and use of presentations on the internal and external arenas, and come up with a recommendation on how to improve the use of PowerPoint presentations in Statoil to ensure more consistency and impact.

For example,
What are the best practices when it comes to presentations and PowerPoint?

How do we use PowerPoint presentations in different parts of the company? What are the needs?

How to use the PowerPoint and the Statoil template? Tips and advices

How can we ensure that all presentations comply with brand guidelines and requirements?

Implement a qualitative survey on perceptions about internal communication, content and channels across the business. Summarize findings, improvements and recommendations in a report.


No more than 1 year of full time relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience)

Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies by the time of the commencement of the internship, and are currently enrolled in a relevant study programme

High proficiency in spoken and written English


High ethical standards
