Private Equity Internship - Alder (Stockholm, Full-time)
Alder, a Stockholm-based private equity buyout firm, is looking for a motivated and high-performing individual for a full-time internship.
Alder is a Nordic private equity fund with the goal of creating good opportunities for companies to accelerate growth and strategic development. Alder invests in small and mid-cap Nordic companies with a sustainability focus and an established business with strong growth potential. Alder has made ten platform investments to date, in industries such as smart energy metering, water treatment and intelligent transportation systems. Our new fund was launched earlier this year and total AUM is SEK 2.5 billion from well-known institutional investors.
We are looking for a high-performing person, fluent in both Swedish (and/or Norwegian) and English, to join our investment team for a full-time internship based in Stockholm. At Alder we value diversity and believe that different backgrounds contribute to making our team stronger.
You are likely pursuing a degree in a relevant MSc program, e.g. Finance, Accounting or Engineering. Experience from relevant work or financial modeling/business analysis is considered a plus, as is an interest in sustainable development. The internship commences at the latest in January 2019 and lasts from six to twelve months. A successful internship can be converted to a full-time position.
At Alder you would gain experience from all stages in an investment process, with the opportunity to take significant responsibility from day one. Your responsibilities would include:
• Deal flow and evaluation of investment opportunities
• Analysis during investment and exit processes
• Supporting management in Alder’s Portfolio Companies in value creation initiatives
