Internship – Sustainability
The Corporate Governance Area is seeking 1-2 dedicated summer interns for its Sustainability team. The team contributes to the fund’s value creation objective through sustainability analysis and engagement with portfolio companies. The fund is invested in around 9,000 companies globally.
The successful candidate(s) will work closely with a Senior Analyst in the team to gather primary data and assess company tax policies and disclosure in accordance with NBIM’s expectation document on tax and transparency. The role also includes researching and analysing human rights data as well as quality assurance of sustainability data that NBIM collects on other sustainability topics. The latter work is in relation to Norges Bank Investment Management’s model for assessing companies’ sustainability performance. You will collaborate with the team Head and take an active part in the team’s general work.
The internship is an opportunity to contribute to and learn from financially motivated engagements with companies on sustainability matters. It is also an opportunity to gain expertise and knowledge of tax governance, tax risk management, tax reporting as well as sustainability reporting on human rights. Quantitatively inclined individuals with a topical interest and economics, finance or law background are encouraged to apply.
The internship will be located in Oslo.
