Graduate 2018 - Commercial - Supply Chain Management

Statoil’s 2-year Commercial graduate programme will kick-start your transition from student to professional, with opportunities to contribute in some of the company’s most exciting commercial areas.
You will engage in at least 2 rotational assignments, projects, structured learning through the Statoil University, mentoring and on-the-job learning to develop commercial awareness, core competencies and experiences, along with strong professional networks.
Your exact assignment and location will be decided based on your field of expertise and our business needs.br />
Statoil’s Supply Chain Management (SCM) function covers Procurement, Material management and Logistical operations, and supports our Exploration, Drilling & Well, Capital projects, Operations & maintenance, and Indirect spend activities globally.
As a Supply Chain Management Graduate in the commercial discipline areas you will typically be exposed to work within:
• Identifying and sourcing business demand, managing Warehouses and Inventory levels, managing inbound and outbound logistics to our offshore or onshore facilities
• Further automating and digitalising our SCM processes, identifying and deploying relevant technologies to support efficient and LEAN operations.
Master’s degree or PhD with good academic record within Topics from SCM or Industrial Economics & Technology Management or Strategy and business development is an advantage.
No more than two years of relevant fulltime work experience
Fluent in English and preferably a second working language
International work and/or study experience preferred
Extra curriculum activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
Proven ability in project work with strong quantitative skills within statistics and data analysis
