Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst in Elkem you are part of our trainee programme for 18 months and will work in key financial positions in various areas of the company. You get the opportunity to work closely with management and decision-making processes. The programme aims to develop ambitious employees to take on important financial positions within the company. This position will kick-start your career, with challenging assignments from day one.

Our business analysts belong to the Corporate Business Support (CBS) department, which serves as an internal consulting team responsible for financial processes, analysis and driving improvements in Elkem. CBS is now looking for candidates who are ambitious and ready to take on an important and exciting position.

Travelling will be required.

Areas of responsibility:
•Analyse monthly and quarterly results
•Business development
•Ensure internal control
•Coordinate forecast, budget and strategy process
•Carry out financial analysis
•Contribute to continuous improvement of models, processes and routines in Elkem

Qualifications required for the position:
•5 years of higher education within economics / finance / industrial economics
•Excellent academic results and up to 2 years working experience
•Geographical mobility
•A desire to develop both professionally and personally
•Ambitious and self-driven

It is an advantage to have good communication skills in both English and Norwegian.
