Summer Internship 2020 - Operation & Maintenance

The role of operation and maintenance (O&M) is to deliver safe, predictable and profitable operations in accordance with regulations, governance and operational parameters.

O&M covers all aspects of operation, maintenance and modifications for operating assets, and modification and investment projects for all phases in the company.

Our summer interns will work on multiple tasks throughout the business. Work tasks may vary according to your competence profile, assignment and business needs.

Some typical assignments under Operation and Maintenance:
• Cost Management / Portfolio coordinator for projects
• Quality and Risk Management for projects
• LCI documentation
• Decommissioning
• Process and technical security
• Information technology
• Multi discipline tasks within condition-based maintenance
• Maintenance Management
• Several engineering tasks within, but not limited to
o Mechanical (static, rotating, inspection)
o Electricity
o Automation
o Process

Relevant education:

Energy and Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy and Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Cybernetics and Robotics, Industrial Cybernetics, Industrial Economics and Technology Management, Reliability, availability, Maintainability and safety, Industrial Chemistry and Biotechnology, together with other relevant technical disciplines.

Additional education in areas such as economics, information technology and management are also relevant.

No more than 1 year of full time relevant experience (please note research under a PhD are not be considered relevant experience).

Have completed at least 2 years of relevant bachelor studies by the time of the commencement of the internship, and are currently enrolled in a relevant study programme.

Fluent in English

International work and/or study experience preferred

Extracurricular activities and/or voluntary work is an advantage
